EASTSIDE BICYCLE BOULEVARD NETWORK
COMMUNITY INPUT EVENT
The Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) invites you to attend a community input event to talk about upcoming improvements to the Eastside Bicycle Boulevard Project and share your feedback.
The Eastside Bicycle Boulevard project uses neighborhood streets to expand our citywide low-stress biking network by creating routes to jobs, neighborhood destinations, schools, and parks. The planned project extends along more than 20 miles of neighborhood streets east of the Pantano Wash, connecting nine project segments from Pima Street to Escalante Road.
This project is a cost-effective way to provide safer, low-stress routes for people that want to bike in their neighborhood or across town. These improvements increase safety for all modes of transportation by slowing traffic and reducing cut-through traffic making it easier for people walking and biking to cross busy streets.
Attend a public event to learn more about this upcoming project and let us know your thoughts.
