HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION
2000 EAST ROGER ROAD |

On August 10, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers from Operations Division Midtown and members from the Tucson Fire Department responded to an apartment complex at 2000 East Roger Road regarding multiple reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a male with gunshot trauma. Officers rendered trauma first aid until Tucson Fire medics arrived. The male did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as 18-year-old Aris Raynee Brito Junior. His family has been notified of his passing. Homicide investigators and Crime Scene Unit responded to continue the investigation.
This investigation is ongoing and in its early stages. Investigators are working to identify two suspects involved. Additional information may be released at a later date as it becomes available. Anyone with information is urged to contact Tucson Police, or 88-CRIME if you wish to remain anonymous.
