Public Input Sought on City Budget
The City is finalizing its budget for FY26 and is seeking public input.
In TPD's budget request, we are seeking funding for:
- More officers on the streets
- Competitive pay to retain and recruit top talent
- Safely equipping our officers
You can see TPD's budget presentation to the City Manager on the department's home page (https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Police), along with prior fiscal year budget presentations.
There is also a link to take the City's budget engagement survey anytime between now and 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 11.
Finally, there is also a link to attend a virtual public meeting on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 7 p.m.
