There are two opportunities to join the dialogue:
-
Date: Wednesday, March 5, 5:30-8 p.m.
-
Date: Saturday, March 8, Time 9-11.30 a.m.
-

About the Food and Beverage Distribution Permit: The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department issues free Food and Beverage Distribution Permits to regulate food distribution activities in City parks, ensuring neighborhood safety and efficient resource allocation. These permits are authorized under Tucson City Code 21-4 and are designed to avoid overburdening parks. Permits are only issued for select parks and during designated timeframes. Organizations must complete a training program covering food safety, cleanup expectations, and available community services. Permits are not required on holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, or for water distribution on any day.
Anyone in need of an accommodation for this community conversation should contact Tucson Parks and Recreation at least two weeks in advance if possible (including translation services). For more details email TPRD-Therapeutics@tucsonaz.gov or call 520-791-4504.
