SIXTH AVENUE UNDERPASS DOWNTOWN REPAINTING DAYTIME UNDERPASS CLOSURES
Beginning on Monday, February 17, 2025, through Friday, March 14, 2025, daytime closures of the Sixth Avenue Underpass downtown will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some possible weekend closures. During the closure times, motor vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians will be prohibited from using the underpass.
The closure will allow work crews to prep and repaint the underpass. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. Electronic message boards are in place to alert motorists of this work.
The traveling public can expect delays when driving in this area. Please obey all traffic control signs and watch for construction personnel in the area.
