 REGISTER FOR SENIOR OLYMPIC FESTIVAL
Tucson Parks and Recreation and Pain Institute of Southern Arizona present the 40th annual Senior Olympic Festival, Jan. 4-Feb. 2, 2025, at several venues throughout Tucson. The festival is a celebration to promote fitness, health, and an active lifestyle among adults 50 years of age and older. Some of the events include volleyball, bowling, bridge, racquetball, basketball shoot, pickleball, archery, golf, tennis, horseshoes, badminton, and more. Entry fees vary by event. View the events online now and register online at the link below, until Friday, Dec. 27. Attend the Meet the Coordinator event on Thursday, Dec. 12, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Morris K. Udall Recreation Center, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road, to find out more information about each event, register, win raffle prizes, and the first 50 attendees will get a 2025 Senior Olympic Festival lapel pin.
 SCHOOL'S OUT WINTER BREAK
Tucson Parks and Recreation will be offering School's Out Winter Break Camps at multiple sites throughout Tucson for children ages 5-11 (currently enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade) or In-Betweeners Club for ages 12-14.Activities include games, sports, social interaction, dance, art projects, and nutrition-based learning activities. Dates: Monday, Dec. 23-Friday, Jan. 3 (no camps Dec. 25 and Jan. 1)
Time: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (camps will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31)
Cost: $40 for city residents or $50 for non-city residents
 WINTER/SPRING CLASS REGISTRATION
Tucson Parks and Recreation's spring 2025 leisure classes schedule boasts hundreds of fun and engaging opportunities for the community. Classes range from arts and crafts, Little Movers and Shakers, dance, gymnastics, jewelry making, glass fusing, music, and more for youth and adults. Get active in a health and fitness class, learn digital photography skills, or create beautiful pottery and ceramics pieces. There truly is something for everyone. Classes are viewable online at the link below. Registration begins Saturday, Dec. 7, at 8 a.m. for city residents and 10 a.m. for non-city residents. The deadline to register for session 1 is Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.
