Veterans Day Parade Monday November 11 at 11 AM
The 105th Tucson Veterans Day Parade will be held Monday, Nov. 11, starting at 11 a.m., in Downtown Tucson. The parade begins (and ends) at North Granada Avenue and West Alameda Street, mostly covering the perimeter of the Tucson Convention Center. The Tucson Veteran’s Day Parade Foundation (TVDPF) hosts the event each year to teach people about gratitude, empathy, and the importance of honoring those who have served our country. This year's theme honors veterans of Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Desert Calm. Starting Monday, Nov. 11, at 9 a.m., Granada Avenue will be closed, from Franklin Street to Congress Street, and westbound Congress Street will shut down, from Stone Avenue to westbound I-10 Frontage Road. Additional road closures will start at 10:30 a.m. on portions of Church Avenue, Cushing Street, and eastbound Broadway Boulevard/Congress Street. Follow the road closures link below for full details. All streets are scheduled to reopen by 1 p.m. Monday. Use caution and have patience if you'll be in the downtown area Monday morning.
