Fall Family Festival at Gene C. Reid Park – Saturday, Nov. 16

Tucson Parks and Recreation invites you to a day packed with family-friendly activities at this year's Fall Family Festival at Gene C. Reid Park, 920 S. Concert Place, on Saturday, Nov. 16. This year's festival is bigger and better than ever, featuring a wide variety of events taking place all across the park. Whether you're looking to race in the Turkey Trot, show off your pumpkin derby car, or enjoy the glow of the evening Pumpkin Flotilla, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

While all games and activities are free, don't forget to bring cash for the Food Truck Roundup, happening from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with live entertainment curated by Tucson Pops Orchestra and the Tucson Jazz Festival. 

Schedule of Events: 

Morning Events: 

• 7:30-9 a.m.: Turkey Trot  

• 8 a.m.-Noon: Gardening Demo (Rose Garden) 

• 8 a.m.-6 p.m.: Recipe Trading Board 

• 8:30-11 a.m.: RC Cars (must bring your own electric RC car) 

• 9-11 a.m.: Fossil Dig  

• 9-11 a.m.: Paint by Number  

• 9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fitness - Yoga, Zumba 

• 9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Kickball (preregistration required), Homerun Derby, Pump Pass Kick 

Midday Events: 

• 10 a.m.-Noon: Maze 

• 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Inflatables, Pumpkin Bowl, Sack Races, Imagination Playground 

• 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Sensory Area 

• 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Scavenger Hunt  

• 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Games Area, Ready, Set, Rec! 

• 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Petpalooza (Dog Park) 

• 11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Pumpkin Derby (pre-registration required) 

• 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m.: Food Truck Roundup with live entertainment from Tucson Jazz Festival and Tucson Pops Orchestra 

• 11 a.m.-6 p.m.: STEM Expo with SARSEF and TEP  

Afternoon and Evening Events: 

• Noon-3 p.m.: Sidewalk Chalk 

• 1-3 p.m.: Picture Mural  

• 2-4 p.m.: Lego Program  

• 2:30-4 p.m.: Pumpkin Catapult
