TUCSON MAYOR AND COUNCIL APPROVE PARKS AND RECREATION REVISED RATES AND FEES

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, City of Tucson Mayor and Council adopted Tucson Parks and Recreation revised rates and fees. The proposed rate changes will go into effect July 1, 2024.

No fees* to access the City’s smaller centers:

• Fred Archer Center, 1665 S. La Cholla Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85713
• Cherry Avenue center, 5085 S. Cherry Ave., Tucson, AZ 85706
• El Rio Center, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85745
• Freedom Center, 5000 E. 29th St., Tucson, AZ 85711
• Marty Birdman Center, 2536 N. Castro Ave., Tucson, AZ 85705
• Ormsby Center, 897 W. 24th St., Tucson, AZ 85713 (currently closed)
• Oury Center, 655 N. Hughes St., Tucson, AZ 85705
• Quincie Douglas Center, 1575 E. 36th St., Tucson, AZ 85713
• Santa Rosa Center, 1080 S. 10th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85701

*Facility access is free, however programs with affiliated fees still would be in effect for users.

New commercial use of parks fee:

• Daily fee up to $30
• Monthly fee up to $200
• Quarterly fee up to $500

Youth sports field lighting fee:

• $8 per hour

New pool rental fees:

• Collegiate swim teams: $10 per athlete per day
• Local swim teams: $6 per lane per 3 hours (short course)
• Local swim teams: $15 per lane per 2 hours (long course)
• Aquatic program provider: $50/hour

Ramada fees (full day):

• Small, up to 25 people
• Medium, up to 60 people
• Large, up to 100 people
• Extra-large 140-250 people

Tennis court use fees (for courts under contract management)
