ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION OPEN
Register today for Tucson Parks and Recreation's fall men’s, women's, and coed adult Slowpitch Softball Leagues. You can register online at the website linked below or in person at the Sports Unit, 1710 E. Silverlake, or Registration Services, 920 S. Randolph Way. Call the Sports Unit at (520) 791-4870 for more information and other registration options. Register online at the link below through Friday, Feb. 16. The season will run Feb. 26-May 16.
SENIOR OLYMPIC FESTIVAL REGISTRATION CLOSES DEC. 29
Tucson Parks and Recreation and Pain Institute of Southern Arizona presents the 39th annual Senior Olympic Festival. This festival is a celebration to promote fitness, health, and an active lifestyle among adults 50 years of age and older. Events include volleyball, bowling, bridge, racquetball, basketball shoot, pickleball, archery, golf, tennis, horseshoes, badminton, and so much more.
Registration for most of these events has closed, but some events will accept walk-in registration.

YOUTH VIDEO GAMING COMPETITION
Tucson Parks and Recreation hosts a monthly video gaming competition, Switch City. This program features monthly Nintendo Switch tournaments for teens ages 10-17 hosted at various recreation centers. A different game is played each month. No registration is required. Find locations and times HERE.

NOW HIRING LIFEGUARDS - GET PAID TO GET CERTIFIED
Are you or someone you know looking for a part-time job? Tucson Parks and Recreation is hiring lifeguards to operate and maintain the safety at City pools year-round. The minimum age to be a lifeguard is 15 years old. Pay starts at $16.75/hour.
The City will pay applicants to get their Lifeguard Certification through the City’s certification path. The lifeguard class is an intense, fast-paced course, and strong swim skills are required. All applicants must pass a swim test to qualify. The next swim tests are at Catalina Pool, Jan. 6 and 21.
