PROVIDE FEEDBACK TOMORROW ON TUCSON RAPID TRANSIT - Help create Tucson’s first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. The City of Tucson is planning a 5-mile corridor on Tucson’s north side for BRT, a new high-capacity transit service that will connect riders between Tohono T’adai Transit Center/Tucson Mall and the downtown Ronstadt Transit Center. This area was selected for the City’s first BRT project because it has proven high demand for transit service and substantial reinvestment potential, including the Thrive in the 05 area and around Tucson Mall. Also, Tucsonans have expressed strong support for more high-capacity transit in Move Tucson, the City’s transportation vision and master plan adopted in 2021. Comment and take the survey today by following the link below by Friday, Dec. 1, or attend one of three scheduled meetings. The first will be tomorrow, Nov. 14 (in-person), from 5:30-7:30 p.m., in the main meeting room at Donna R. Liggins Recreation Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave. Comment/take the survey Learn more Read the news release
