FAMILY FESTIVAL IN THE PARK PRESENTED BY CIGNA
Cigna and Tucson Parks and Recreation are proud to present the 16th annual Family Festival in the Park. There will be games, prizes, crafts, inflatables, and class demonstrations. Reid Park Zoo will have $1 admission (funds going to the Reid Park Zoo’s Conservation Fund) from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center will host free swimming from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Gertie and the T.O. Boyz and other entertainment will be presented throughout the day, and there will be a variety of foods available for purchase through local vendors.
When: Saturday, Nov. 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

HOLIDAY ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR AT REID PARK NOV. 25-26
The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department is excited to announce the return of its annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair in Reid Park. Come get a jump on your holiday shopping. This free event will draw in more than 140 vendors from all over the Southwest, ranging from artists, crafters, photographers, painters, potters, jewelers, and more. This Thanksgiving weekend fair has become a tradition for many holiday shoppers for more than 40 years.
Stroll through the park and visit artists with their colorful fused glass and mosaics, wind chimes, leather bags, painted gourds, and teacup bird feeders. Discover an artist's original work in painting, photography, clay, wood, and fiber. If you are looking for something cozy, this is the place for quilts, knit scarves, and fragrant handmade soaps and lotions. Complement your holiday shopping list with western wall art or chimes, stuffed toys, pet accessories, accessories, gourmet treats, and so much more. While enjoying the fair, be sure to stop for food and refreshments available for purchase from local vendors.

SENIOR OLYMPIC FESTIVAL REGISTRATION BEGINS SOON
Tucson Parks and Recreation and Pain Institute of Southern Arizona presents the 39th annual Senior Olympic Festival. This festival is a celebration to promote fitness, health, and an active lifestyle among adults 50 years of age and older. Events include volleyball, bowling, bridge, racquetball, basketball shoot, pickleball, archery, golf, tennis, horseshoes, badminton, and so much more. WINTER/SPRING LEISURE CLASSES VIEWABLE NOV. 20
Fuel your passion, ignite your creativity, and embark on an unforgettable journey with our fall indoor leisure classes. With an eclectic mix of activities ranging from arts and crafts, dance, and gymnastics to jewelry making, glass fusing, and music, the stage is set for an unforgettable experience. Classes for January-May will be viewable online at EZEEreg.com beginning Monday, Nov. 20.
Registration will begin on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 8 a.m. (city-residents) and 10 a.m. (non-city residents)
Gym II & III/Therapeutic Recreation/Adaptive Aquatics and all other classes can call to register beginning Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 8 a.m. Walk-in registration begins Thursday, Dec. 14, at 8 a.m.
YOUTH VIDEO GAMING COMPETITION
Tucson Parks and Recreation hosts a monthly video gaming competition, Switch City. This program features monthly Nintendo Switch tournaments for teens ages 10-17 hosted at various recreation centers. A different game is played each month. No registration is required. Find locations and times HERE.

In November 2018, City of Tucson voters approved Proposition 407, a $225 million bond package for capital improvements. The bond funds are dedicated to improving City park amenities (playgrounds, sports fields, pools, splash pads, and recreation centers) as well as connections (pedestrian pathways, bicycle pathways, and pedestrian and bicycle safety).
