Councilwoman Nikki Lee hosts
Illegal Street Racing Town Hall
Ward 4 Councilwoman Lee recognizes the profound impact that illegal street racing has on the lives of Tucson residents, particularly those on the eastside of the city. In response to the growing concerns voiced by the local community, Councilwoman Lee will host a vital Town Hall meeting on Thursday, October 5th, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at the ODE Community Room, located within the Tucson Police Department's Rincon Substation at 9670 E Golf Links. This Town Hall aims to create a platform for open dialogue, where residents can share their firsthand experiences, concerns, and suggestions regarding illegal street racing.
In attendance will be City Manager Michael Ortega, Chief of Police Chad Kasmar, and Director of Transportation and Mobility Sam Credio who will actively engage with the community, listen to their concerns, and provide valuable insights. This collaborative effort between city officials and concerned citizens is part of Councilwoman Lee's commitment to finding effective solutions and enhancing safety within Ward 4 and Tucson as a whole.
