AFTERSCHOOL REGISTRATION
Register for KIDCO Afterschool for the 2023-2024 school year. This program from Tucson Parks and Recreation offers safe and structured activities for youth. Planned activities may include sports, games, nutrition, fitness, arts and crafts, performing arts, and special events. School's Out Day Camp
Tucson Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Tucson Unified School District (TUSD), is offering a free, "School's Out Day Camp," for students on TUSD's Professional Development Day on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Camp will be from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. for children ages 5-11 years old who are enrolled at a TUSD school. Activities are supervised, engaging, and fun. Each child must bring a shelf-sustainable lunch, a water bottle, and two snacks. Refrigerators and microwaves will not be available for use. UMPIRE CLINIC
We need umpires for the City Slow Pitch Softball Leagues. We are hosting a FREE umpire clinic to certify those interested in applying. Pay starts at $20/hour, and must be at least 18 years of age. For more information or to RSVP, contact the Sports Unit at 520-791-4870.

HOLIDAY ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR AT REID PARK CALL FOR VENDORS
Tucson Parks and Recreation will begin accepting applications for the 2023 Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair at Reid Park on Friday, Aug. 4, at 5 p.m. This event has been held for more than four decades, attracting more than 140 vendors from all over the Southwest. All items must be unique, handmade goods that provide shoppers with a high-quality and diverse selection of items.
Interested vendors are advised to complete the online application early. Vendors who submit applications after the fair is full will be placed on a waitlist. Vendor applications and submission materials will be reviewed, and vendors will be notified of their acceptance no later than Friday, Sept. 15. Accepted vendors will be sent a vendor information packet with payment information. The fee is $90 for a 10′ x 10′ space for the two-day event. Payment will not be accepted at the time of application submission.
Location: Gene C. Reid Park (west side off of Country Club Rd.) Dates: Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25-Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Teen Video Gaming Competition
Teens can sign up for Tucson Parks and Recreation’s Switch City program, a video gaming competition for teens. This program features monthly Nintendo Switch tournaments for teens ages 12-17 hosted at various recreation centers. A different game is played each month. Tournament registration is open for August.
