TRACK AND FIELD AND ROAD RACES
Track and Field and Road Races continue in July. Cost is $3/youth (17 years and younger); $4/adults (18 years and older).
Track and field events are held Tuesdays, through July 25 (no event on July 4), at Drachman Stadium, 501 S. Plumer Ave. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and the meet begins at 7 p.m.
Road races will be held at various locations on Thursdays. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., with races starting at 6 p.m.
Ribbons will be given to the top finishers at each track and field meet and run. For more information, visit the Sports Unit website or call (520) 791-4870.
SUMMER POOLOOZA POOL PARTIES
Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting "Summer Poolooza," free pool parties across the city throughout June and July. Events include Ready, Set, Rec! vans with games and activities (see story below), food, music, inflatables, pool fun, and more. Come and enjoy some fun in the sun.

AFTERSCHOOL REGISTRATION
Registration opens soon for KIDCO Afterschool for the 2023-2024 school year. This program from Tucson Parks and Recreation offers safe and structured activities for youth. Planned activities may include sports, games, nutrition, fitness, arts and crafts, performing arts, and special events. Registration for year-round sites (Vail School District) begins Wednesday, July 5, at 8 a.m. Registration for all other school year sites will begin Saturday, July 17, at 8 a.m., for City residents and at 8 a.m. for non-City residents. FALL CLASS REGISTRATION
Tucson Parks and Recreation's fall 2023 leisure classes schedule boasts hundreds of fun and engaging opportunities for the community. Classes will be viewable on EZEEreg.com beginning Friday, July 14. Registration will begin on Saturday, July 29, at 8 a.m. Classes range from arts and crafts, Little Movers and Shakers, dance, gymnastics, jewelry making, glass fusing, music, and more for youth and adults. Get active in a health and fitness class, learn digital photography skills, or create beautiful pottery and ceramics pieces. There truly is something for everyone. The deadline for registering for session one is Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 5 p.m.
Join our Parks and Recreation Slowpitch Softball League. Whether you're a seasoned slugger or a first-time hitter, it's time to grab your glove, stretch those legs, and slide into a season of unforgettable memories – where every pitch is a pitch-perfect excuse to have a blast!
We are now offering a women's only league, in addition to the men's and coed leagues.

Teen Program: Switch City
Introducing a NEW teen program, Switch City! Teens 12-17 can play in monthly Nintendo Switch tournaments at different recreation centers. A different game is played each month.
