ZERO WASTE COLLECTION EVENT HAPPENING SATURDAY, APRIL 15TH
The City of Tucson's Environmental and General Services Department (EGSD, in partnership with community organizations is hosting a Zero Waste Collection event on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The event will be held in the parking lot of the Catalina United Methodist Church, 2700 E. Speedway Blvd. from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
City residents can drop off electronic waste (E-waste), documents for shredding (limit 3 boxes), expired medications, scrap metal, and more. A list of vendors and materials to be collected is available at tucsonzerowaste.com.
Community partners include: Goodwill of Southern Arizona, The Beacon Group, American Legion, Lions Club, Iskashitaa Refugee Network, Recyco, Bookman's, Disabled American Veterans, TPD, and the Cero Zero Waste Store. These organizations will be on hand to collect materials is a one-stop, contactless environment but accept materials year round.
