Ready, Set, Rec! Anniversary Showcase - Saturday, Feb. 25

Tucson’s Mayor and City Council and Tucson Parks and Recreation are thrilled to celebrate two years of “Ready, Set, Rec!,” providing mobile recreation in Tucson. Join us for the Ready, Set, Rec! Showcase on Saturday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Himmel Park, 1000 N. Tucson Blvd. Enjoy family fun, including coloring and origami, fitness, STEM, miniature golf, disc golf, gardening and yard games and more. Other activities include raffle prizes, food trucks, and music. 

“I am inviting our community to come out and celebrate the success of our award-winning Ready, Set, Rec! program,” said Tucson Mayor Regina Romero. “During the pandemic, Council Member Fimbres and I saw a need to create a safe and fun program to bring outdoor recreation to our children and families. I want to thank Tucson Parks and Rec. Director Lara Hamwey and her team for bringing Mayor and Council's vision to life."
