SIXTH STREET CLOSURE
STONE AVENUE AND FRANKLIN STREET/TOOLE AVENUE CLOSURE
As part of the Downtown Links Phase III Improvement Project, crews are scheduled to apply the final striping to roadways in the downtown area.
On Sunday, February 5, 2023, beginning at 7 a.m. Sixth Street from Stone Avenue to Sixth Avenue will close to all travel to allow crews to stripe the roadway. This closure is anticipated to reopen to travel around 3 p.m. the same day.
On Monday, February 6, beginning at 9 a.m. the Stone Avenue, Toole Avenue/Franklin Street intersection, including the Stone Avenue underpass south of Sixth Street is scheduled to close to allow crews to stripe the roadway. This closure is anticipated to open by 4 p.m. the same day. Pedestrian access will be maintained in this area during the work.
This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
The Regional Transportation Authority, a political subdivision of the state and independently governed, has invested more than $1.4 billion in transportation projects and services to improve mobility, safety, economic vitality and quality of life in the region. The RTA collects a half-cent excise (sales) tax from its special taxing district within Pima County to fund its 20-year regional transportation plan. The plan and tax were approved by voters in May 2006. The Downtown Links Improvement Project is part of the RTA plan and is managed by the City of Tucson. CIERRE DE LA CALLE SEIS
CIERRE DE LA AVENIDA STONE Y LA CALLE FRANKLIN/AVENIDA TOOLE
Como parte del Proyecto de Mejoramiento de la Fase III de Downtown Links, los equipos están programados para pintar las rayas finales a las calles en el centro de la ciudad.
El domingo, 5 de febrero de 2023, a partir de las 7 a.m., se cerrará la Calle Seis desde la Avenida Stone hasta la Avenida Seis para permitir que los equipos pinten las rayas en las calles. Se prevé que este cierre se reabrirá alrededor de las 3 p.m. del mismo día.
El lunes, 6 de febrero, a partir de las 9 a.m. la intersección de la Avenida Stone, la Avenida Toole/Calle Franklin, incluyendo el paso subterráneo de la Avenida Stone al sur de la Calle Seis está programado para cerrar para permitir que los equipos pinten las rayas en las calles. Se prevé que este cierre se abra a las 4 p.m. del mismo día. En esta zona se mantendrá el accesso peatonal durante la obra.
El programa está sujeto a cambios debidos a las inclemencias del tiempo o a circunstancias imprevistas.
La Autoridad Regional de Transporte (RTA), una subdivisión política del estado y gobernada de forma independiente, ha invertido más de $1.4 mil millones de dólares en proyectos y servicios de transporte para mejorar la movilidad, la seguridad, la vitalidad económica y la calidad de vida en la región. La RTA recolecta un impuesto de medio centavo de su distrito fiscal especial dentro del Condado de Pima para financiar su plan de transporte regional de 20 años.
