“How do I report water waste?”
For non-emergency water waste, call 520-791-2514 or email WaterWaste@tucsonaz.gov to submit a report with a Tucson Water conservation inspector. (To report emergency leaks, call 520-791-4133.) They will investigate your report, so please provide basic info: contact name and number, incident location, description of leak, and incident time and date.
Since 1984 in Tucson, it is unlawful to allow water to escape from premises onto neighboring homes or public property such as alleys and streets. Although Water Waste Ordinance violations carry potential fines and service shut off, the goal of inspectors is to stop waste and educate on efficiency opportunities.
