VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING - The deadline to register to vote in Pima County's primary election is Tuesday, July 5. The election will be held Aug. 2. Voting will be a bit different this year with the addition of Vote Centers. Voters no longer have to cast ballots at their designated precincts and can vote in-person at any of the centers throughout Pima County. With "e-pollbooks," a voter will go to any Vote Center, present their identification, and a Vote Center staff member will use the e-pollbook to scan the Driver License, which is the most common form of identification, and bring up the voter’s information. Allowable alternative forms of identification can also be used to find the voter. The system will then send the voter’s information to a ballot printer to print a ballot specific to the precinct in which the voter lives. Everything else about voting at a Vote Center is the same as voting at a precinct polling location. See a related story below. Pima.gov/Vote2022 Pima.gov/VoteCenters Pima County Recorder
