CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S DAY HOLIDAYS TRASH & RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICE SCHEDULE
The Christmas Day and New Year's Day holidays will be observed on Friday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 31. Residential and commercial trash and recycling collection services will not change due to the holidays.
The Los Reales Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Holiday collection schedules are available online at www.tucsonaz.gov/esd or if you have a smartphone, download the free Recycle Coach™ app to have access to all collection schedules.
City offices will be closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31; however, Customer Service will be available from 8 am to 3 pm. Customers may leave a message for Customer Service at 791-3171 or email EShelp@tucsonaz.gov and they will be contacted no later than the next business day.
Remember to make sure your blue barrels have no plastic bags, food waste, or yard waste inside, but only clean recyclable material. To see a list of what is accepted go to www.tucsonaz.gov/recycle.
