Renaming SHARP to Honor Former Councilmember Shirley Scott
This December, Tucson Water commemorates former City of Tucson Ward 4 Councilmember Shirley Scott’s 24 years of public service and sustainability advocacy by formally dedicating the utility’s newest reclaimed facility the Shirley C. Scott Southeast Houghton Area Recharge Project on its one-year anniversary.

Conservation Tip: Monitor Your Water Flow
Third-party monitoring devices can provide peace-of-mind and detailed information about water use at your home. These devices, often referred to as a water low monitoring or leak detection devices, serve the dual purpose of identifying when the meter has continuous flow, which may indicate a leak, and providing detailed information on use and duration of use in and around the house, which can identify conservation opportunities.

Annual Grease Collection & Recycling Event Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022
Pouring grease down the drain can clog sewer lines and attract cockroaches and other pests. Save used cooking oil and grease and bring it to the free 17th Annual Collection & Recycling Event, Jan. 8, 2022, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Go to pima.gov/grease for the seven recycle event sites in Pima County.
