Arizona Daily Star Featuring a Chat with

W. Mark Clark, President, Pima Council on Aging (PCOA)

Thursday, September 23, 2 pm, Via Zoom

We noted the opportunity described below and thought it would be of interest to Neighborhood Associations that may already be reaching out to their older residents or who may be thinking about doing so.  If you would like to learn more about PCOA’s programs and services for neighbors 60 and older, we suggest joining this chat and sharing the information with others in your neighborhood who might like to participate.  One thing neighbors have in common is that we all age.

From the Arizona Daily Star 9/20/2021, pg. A6

The Arizona Daily Star Opinion Team will host our weekly reader chat Thursday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m.  Our special guest will be W. Mark Clark, president and CEO at the Pima Council on Aging (PCOA).

PCOA provides programs and services to the growing population of adults 60 and older.  PCOA also works with younger adults who find themselves in the role of family caregiver.

If you would like to join the conversation Thursday, email Opinion coordinator Sara Brown at sbrown@tucson.com, and she will email you the Zoom link; or, here is the meeting ID:  935 4617 8115 and password:  346308.

You can join by video or just listen in over your phone.  We look forward to seeing or hearing you there.

To see previous reader chats, go to Tucson.com/opinion/chats.

Finally, if your Neighborhood Association has an active program to check on and/or assist older neighbors, we would like to hear about it.  Email Neighborhood@tucsonaz.gov.
