Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair - Call for Vendors
We are accepting applications for artists for the Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair, Nov. 27-28, at Reid Park. This event has been held for more than three decades, attracting more than 140 vendors from all over the Southwest. All items must be handmade - no mass-produced, store-bought, resale, or imported items. All applications are subject to approval. The fee is $90 for a 10' x 10' space for the two-day event. Spaces fill up quickly. Due to a large number of applications received, some categories will be limited and acceptance is not guaranteed. Payment is due after acceptance into the fair, not during initial registration. For more information, visit our website.

On Nov. 6, 2018, City of Tucson voters approved Proposition 407, a $225 million bond package for capital improvements via General Obligation bonds. The bond funds are dedicated to improving City park amenities (playgrounds, sports fields, pools, splash pads, and recreation center), as well as connections (pedestrian pathways, bicycle pathways, pedestrian and bicycle safety). Projects will happen in phases through 2028. Thank you, Tucson voters! For more information on all the projects planned using Tucson Delivers bond funds, visit TucsonDelivers.Tucsonaz.gov.
Jacobs Park Master Plan Public Input Needed
Jacobs Park/Ochoa Soccer Field Complex, 3300 N. Fairview Ave., has approximately $3.6 million in Tucson Delivers (Prop 407) bond funds dedicated to improving the park. We want your help in developing a master plan at this park and prioritizing what projects should be completed with the funding available.
We will be hosting an in-person event on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the park with fun for the family provided by our Ready, Set, Rec! mobile recreation van and free coffee and donuts! Staff will be on-site to discuss park improvements and walk users through how to take the survey online.
The survey is open now and will close on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 11:45 p.m. To view the virtual meeting held on July 28 or take the survey, visit the project website HERE.
