Tucson Water advierte sobre impostores que intentan ingresar a hogares
Tucson Water advierte a los clientes que ha recibido varias quejas de indivuduales que llegan a las casas y piden que las dejen entrar para recolectar muestras de agua. El individuo llega sin previo aviso y luego presenta una placa que lo identifica como empleado del Departamento de Agua. También afirma que necesita revisar el agua en la casa, incluso en las recamadas. Se descubrió que faltaban artículos personales después de que un residente permitió que la persona ingresara a la casa.
Se han reportado incidentes en las áreas de Sunrise y Swan, Speedway y Camino Seco.
Tucson Water desea recordarles a los residentes que los empleados solo vendrán a su hogar después de que se haya hecho una cita en respuesta a un problema del cliente relacionado con la calidad o presión del agua, o una factura de agua alta. Los empleados siempre tienen una credencial de identificación, usan el uniforme de Tucson Water y conducirán un vehículo marcado como City of Tucson/Tucson Water. Los empleados rara vez necesitan ingresar a la casa para recolectar muestras de agua, ya que esto generalmente se puede lograr recolectando una muestra de una llave en el patio.
Los residentes a los que se presente alguien que afirme ser de Tucson Water, que no hayan hecho arreglos previos para una cita, y que no estén en uniforme azul de Tucson Water o conduzcan un vehículo del departamento de agua marcado deben negarles la entrada y comunicarse con el Departamento de Policía al 911 lo antes posible.
