Rollin' Haunt Drive-Thru Event at Tucson Rodeo Grounds Saturday, Oct. 24
The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department is hosting a drive-thru Rollin' Haunt event. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Parks and Recreation had to cancel many of its popular fall events, including the Boo Bash.
"This office looks forward to the Boo Bash at Lincoln Park every year," said Ward 4 Council Member Nikki Lee. "We are sad to not be able to gather with the community for the fun and games, but look forward to a big event in 2021."
This event will be filled with lots of Halloween treats, tons of fun costumes and characters for the kids to enjoy, and photo opportunities. We encourage families to come with their cars decorated to add to the Halloween spirit. All children present in the vehicles will receive a candy bag with contactless pick-up as they exit the event.
"I am proud of the Parks and Recreation staff for thinking outside the box and putting together such a safe, family-friendly, fun event for our community," said Ward 5 Council Member Richard Fimbres. "We look forward to a time when we can once again host our large community events in person, but for now we need to stay safe and diligent."
