FOURTH AVENUE WINTER STREET FAIR CANCELED - COVID-19 has claimed another popular Tucson event. The Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair, which had been scheduled for Dec. 11-13, has been canceled by the Fourth Avenue Merchants Association. The City of Tucson and Pima County recently developed a new special event permitting process for events with more than 50 people in order to continue to slow the spread of COVID-19 and comply with the statewide executive orders that ban gatherings greater than that size. The requirements to operate the show safely, based on our current community status, would not likely be met in time for the Winter Street Fair. Organizers say they have opted to focus their efforts on the Spring Street Fair in March 2021. From the Arizona Daily Star Fourth Avenue Street Fair announcement Pima County special event information
