PRESCRIPTION BOTTLE RECYCLING - The City of Tucson's Environmental and General Services Department reminds residents that prescription pill bottles are not recyclable in your blue barrel. Anything smaller than a tennis ball or an adult fist cannot be recycled in the barrel, because it is too small to be captured in the sorting process. Instead of tossing those pill bottles in the trash, take them to the Primavera Foundation (any location) or Pima Animal Care Center, 4000 N. Silverbell Road. Please make sure the bottles are empty and rinsed. City of Tucson Recycling list Primavera Foundation Pima Animal Care Center
