Piloting a Revolutionary Home Greywater System
Nine new single-family homes in Lennar’s Santa Rita Ranch and La Estancia communities are part of a unique greywater pilot that promises to help reduce indoor home water consumption by as much as 25 percent.
Thanks to a partnership among Tucson Water, Greyter Water Systems Inc., and Lennar, these homes received a Greyter HOME™ solution – an automated system that captures water from showers and bathtubs, treats it, and provides clear, odor-free water dedicated to toilet flushing.

Tucson Water’s 2019 Annual Water Quality Report offers detailed info about drinking water quality across the utility’s large main distribution system. The 2019 Annual Water Quality Report shows that Tucson Water meets all Environmental Protection Agency standards for safe drinking water based on monitoring tests.
