This is Buddy - at home just making himself comfortable wherever he feels like it. His owner’s name is Robert. Or maybe more accurately, Buddy’s server’s name is Robert.

Robert came to PACC looking for a female cat to adopt. Many were shy in their cages but Buddy – not a female – made it clear that he had his mind set on going home with Robert.

And Robert gave in. As soon as Buddy arrived in the home he immediately hopped up in Robert’s lap, laid beside him in the bed and was immediately ‘at home.’

Buddy has the rule of the roost. More from Robert: “He is my pal. He gives me unconditional acceptance. Well, as long as I keep his water, food, and his litter clean. If I do that, he allows me to stay in his house.”

And to celebrate the relationship Robert has designed a t-shirt he will proudly wear to advertise both Buddy, and to thank PACC for our piece in this matchmaking.

It’s great to be a part of these stories. They bring comfort to our wonderful adoptions team, the new pet owners, and as you can see, the furry members of the exchange are pretty chill about it as well.
