Pima County’s celebration of Public Service Recognition Week May 4-10 will include receipt of a proclamation at the May 6 Board of Supervisors meeting, a May 7 gathering at the Historic Courthouse featuring food, games and music, and a chance to win tickets in the luxury suite at Kino Sports Complex for the annual July 4th celebration. You can even recognize your coworkers for their great work!
Eleven employees will be honored at the May 6 Board of Supervisors meeting as Distinguished Recipients in the County’s Employee Recognition (GEMS) program. Honorees receive a framed certificate and may choose from a list of prizes.

Join us for the final month of free events at the Historic Courthouse before the summer break! Lawn games on Wednesdays, special children’s play activities on Thursdays, and Music in the Courtyard on Fridays.
This month features an old-time fiddler, traditional Tohono O'odham music, and classic American and Mexican folk songs. All activities take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Raven Tautimer never saw herself working at the library. Once she joined the team at Pima County Public Library, though, she was excited to begin learning about how all of the different processes work. She also loves helping people, showing them all of the many fantastic resources available at the library.
