Pima County’s best-loved trail is about to get even better. For the past six weeks, the Pima County Regional Flood Control District has been hard at work along the south bank of the Rillito River, building what will become a new short segment of the Chuck Huckelberry Loop.
The Keeping Families Together fund is a joint effort by Pima Animal Care Center and its nonprofit partner, Friends of PACC, to provide pet owners in need with resources like food and supplies, as well as medical care and behavioral training. Naloxone, wall mounts and emergency signage available in majority of schools in Pima County
The Pima County Health Department’s Youth and School Communities program, in collaboration with the Health Department’s Community Mental Health and Addiction division, has been working diligently to distribute emergency signage and wall mounts stocked with naloxone to schools throughout Pima County.

New video series highlights Tucson's diverse cultural background
Check out this preview of a new video series created to support Tucson’s Silverbell Road Project. Pima County Conservation Lands & Resources teamed up with local documentarian Lisa Molomot and University of Arizona students Anna Agosto, Brett Jones, Fiona Paskoff and Tatum Sailors to produce the videos as part of the project’s public outreach program. The films focus on Tucson as a place for immigrants striving for better lives and how their strong community and family ties persist today. Stay tuned for these videos, which cover the lasting impact of Chinese immigration, the Barrio, indigenous cultures and more.
