Community shows support through
cups of coffee
We all know the saying ‘it takes a village.’ When it comes to operating our shelter, that is certainly true. And that’s why we were thrilled when Dutch Bros Coffee partnered with PACC on Valentine’s Day. With every product purchased at four Dutch Bros company stores on February 14th, they committed to donating $1 to our operation.
As it turns out there are a lot of coffee drinkers who stepped up and supported the promotion. There might have been a little added coaxing going on for some of the participants – but we’re grateful for all of the help.

I’m told by the Dutch Bros leadership that they had their “best day ever!” We’d like to think your support of our animals is a part of the reason they’re donating over $5,400 as a result of the Valentine’s Day effort. We will work with our partners at Friends of PACC and invest those dollars into family-building work through the shelter.
In these weekly Scoops, I share good news about the work our team is doing. That team isn’t made up of only the staff, volunteers and fosters we have daily at PACC. It’s great partners who are out in the wider community doing their part to help us in our important work. That outside-of-the-shelter ‘village’ really came together on the 14th. Thanks to Dutch Bros for that support. We’re looking forward to continuing that relationship in the days ahead.
