Pima County Wastewater seeks input on first proposed rate hikes in eight years

This year, the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department is proposing a series of rate increases, the first since 2017. The fees are part of an annual financial plan prepared by RWRD along with the Pima County Finance and Risk Management Department, designed to address the department’s financial needs for the current fiscal year and the following four fiscal years.

Deadline extended for Agua Caliente Park call to artists

Calling all artists! Pima County’s Agua Caliente Park is accepting applications from artists to display their original work for a five-week period in 2026. The deadline has been extended until March 31. All work should reflect nature, wildlife, landscapes, Southwestern themes, or local cultures in keeping with the park setting.

Pima County Parks and Recreation seeks input on future of Ted Walker Park

A northwest County park may be getting a major makeover, depending on the results of a public survey. Pima County’s Parks and Recreation Department is exploring the possibility of converting the vacant Ted Walker Park into a remote-control park designed to enhance recreational opportunities for both residents and visitors.
