Youth and Adults: Find opportunities at Pima County’s early October job fairs

PIMA COUNTY, Sept. 27, 2024 – Job seekers of all ages will have opportunities to meet with employers at three upcoming job fairs held by Pima County’s Community & Workforce Development Department (CWD).

Community Job Fair

  • Tuesday, Oct. 1
  • 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Kino Event Center, 2805 E. Ajo Way
  • Open to all job seekers

Up to 50 employers will attend, representing multiple industries, including construction, health care, manufacturing, education, food and government.

A similar Community Job Fair in April drew more than 500 job seekers, including some who were interviewed on the spot.

Youth Job Fair

  • Wednesday, Oct. 2
  • 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Youth One-Stop, 320 N. Commerce Park Loop, Sentinel Building
  • Open to youth ages 16-24

CWD staff recommends job seekers be prepared to be interviewed and that they should dress neatly.

Pima County Job and Resource Fair

  • Wednesday, Oct. 9
  • 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Coronado K-8 School, 3401 E. Wilds Road
  • Open to all job seekers
  • Event sponsored by District 1 Supervisor Rex Scott

Job seekers can meet with employers in several job sectors and get information about free childcare resources, employment support, mental health/substance use treatment, and much more. Free COVID-19 and flu shots will be available.
