The U.S. Labor Secretary visits a PEEPS class

U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su was in Tucson on Sept. 18, participating in a discussion on Pima County’s efforts on early childhood education. She called the Pima Early Education Program Scholarship (PEEPS) program a model for other jurisdictions around the country. “I’ll return to Washington really energized by all of this,” she said.

It can be hard to know when someone is struggling. And sadly, the number of suicides in the United States is on the rise. That's why the Pima County Health Department is sharing signs to look out for and ways to support a loved one who is having suicidal thoughts.

Deadline nears for voter registration ahead of 2024 General Election
