Tu Bebé event happening later this month

PIMA COUNTY, Sep. 19, 2024 –The Pima County Health Department is partnering with Arizona Bilingual News to offer a free community event for current and expectant parents later this month, Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kino Event Center, 2805 E. Ajo Way.

The Tu Bebé & You Expo will offer health and community resources to help families navigate the pre-pregnancy to early childhood years. The event also will feature raffle prizes, entertainment and more.

Several services from PCHD will be at the event including:

Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-Visiting Program

Vital Records

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program

Community Mental Health and Addiction (CMHA)
Health Mobile
Youth and School Communities
Tobacco Prevention Program
Well Woman HealthCheck
WIC

Arizona Bilingual has also booked several entertainers including:

Zumba

A Todo Folklore

Ballet Folklorico Tapatio – children’s groups

Lucy Coronado – singer

Viva Performing Arts Center – Jazz, Tapp, Hip Hop, Ballet

Andres Gonzales y su Show de Niños

Raffle prizes, each with a value of $500, will contain items for expectant parents, families and an “everything mommy” package.

The Tu Bebé and You Expo will also have a mobile clinic, HIV and STI testing van, and Tdap, flu, and RSV vaccines for pregnant people.
