Another successful year for RWRD’s annual grease drive
Pima County’s 19th annual grease collection drive on Jan. 6 kept 5,625 pounds of grease and oil out of the sanitary sewer system.
For four hours, volunteers braved the early morning cold to scrape shortening from old coffee cans and pour rancid oil from plastic jugs.
Director's View: RWRD's commitment to fiscal responsibility
The current fiscal year is quickly coming to a close. I look forward to seeing another year’s worth of statistics that should reveal we had another successful year. Thank you all for helping contribute to that success.

Safety Corner: Having a Healthy Heart
In most cases, heart disease is preventable when people adopt a healthy lifestyle, which includes not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight, controlling blood sugar and cholesterol, treating high blood pressure, getting at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity a week, and getting regular checkups.
