 Report: PEEPS is a win for children, families and community
When Pima County surveyed parents of children in the Pima Early Education Program (PEEPS), the results were terrific. With about 500 questionnaires returned, more than 95% of parents said they were “highly satisfied” with their child’s improvement in several areas.

RWRD’s annual drive brings in more than 5,600 pounds of grease
Pima County’s 19th annual grease collection drive on Jan. 6 kept 5,625 pounds of grease and oil out of the sanitary sewer system. For four hours, volunteers braved the early morning cold to scrape shortening from old coffee cans and pour rancid oil from plastic jugs.
