Pima County joins the Arizona Purchasing Group
PIMA COUNTY, Oct. 27, 2023 -- Pima County joined Bidnet Direct’s Arizona Purchasing Group in September 2023 and will soon be using the system to streamline its purchasing process, including publishing and distributing upcoming bid opportunities, bid management, and vendor relations.

“Registered vendors can access open bids, related documents and files, solicitation addenda, and available award information from all participating agencies. This will allow us to create a more seamless bid process and will provide greater participation from vendors across the state.”
As a participating agency of the Arizona Purchasing Group, Pima County will be able to expand its vendor pool and enhance vendor competition without increasing distribution costs. With one click, Pima County will be able to see how many vendors match a specific opportunity, how many have downloaded documents, responded, and more. Pima County also has a branded page on the public side of the Arizona Purchasing Group in which interested parties may view all closed bids and award details.
