For seniors, latest COVID shot offers significant boost
People 65 years of age and older are most at risk from a COVID-19 infection.
Some numbers: In Pima County, almost one-third of all COVID-19 cases occur in the 65-plus age group. Nationally, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that age group accounted for more than 90% of COVID-19 deaths during the week that ended on Nov. 26.
