Email is not a storage bin for public records
As the ITD department completes the transition to cloud-based email servers via Microsoft 365, County Administration has suspended the 60-day email reset policy.
This means instead of email older than 60 days disappearing from your inbox, all your email will remain in your inbox until you delete it or you hit the memory storage cap. The memory limit, though, is considerable, allowing for many thousands of emails.

Got questions? Ask Jan
If you haven’t done so yet, check out the newest feature on the county administrator’s Intranet page: “Ask Jan.”
Employees are invited to submit any questions they may have to County Administrator Jan Lesher about county operations or governance. She will answer as many as she can in her monthly video address to employees, which you'll find in the second issue of eScoop each month.

Well Done: Making INVESTments, keeping safe from floods
In each issue, eScoop likes to give a shout-out to employees and departments who have earned special recognition. We want to hear about colleagues who have earned kudos on the job, who are going above and beyond the call of duty, or are being recognized for their work or volunteerism outside the office.
Send your ideas on employees who should receive a pat on the back by emailing the eScoop editor.
In this issue, you’ll hear about a new correctional health professional whose background drives his career choice, honors for two programs administered through the Community and Workforce Development Department and thanks from a community member for keeping the washes clean and safe.
