Cattle Guard Approach Slab Repairs

Pima County, Ariz. (May 9) – On Tuesday, May 10, and Wednesday, May 11, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction, Co., are scheduled to repair the approach to the cattle guard on Mission Road and Pima Mine Road in both directions.

Mission Road will be reduced to one lane of travel at Pima Mine Road, to provide access for crews to make repairs to improve the transition over the cattle guard.

Advance traffic warning signs will be set-up in both directions and flaggers will be on site, both days, to direct traffic. Motorists may experience minor delays. Drivers are reminded to proceed through the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
