December brings weekly promotions at PACC

PIMA COUNTY, Dec. 6, 2021 – The pets at Pima Animal Care Center are hoping you might be their “Home for the Holidays.” Each week for the rest of December will offer a different way for folks to save on their adoption fees.

“You don’t have to adopt a pet in order to help PACC,” said Monica Dangler, Director of Animal Services. “We’d love to see the shelter clear out through fostering, too, so that none of our pets have to spend the holidays in a noisy kennel.”

Each week of December brings a new week of potential savings:

  • December 6-12 – Potential adopters can bring in an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.
    • Each toy will get an adopter a $0 adoption fee for a pet.
  • December 13-19 – Wear a holiday Sweater and get a $0 adoption fee for a pet.
  • December 20-26 – All pets 4 months or older will have a $5 discount on their adoption fee.
  • December 27-31 – Name your price on pets four months or older.

A $20 licensing fee may apply on each week’s special.

“Even if you can’t adopt or foster, there are so many ways to support the pets at PACC through our nonprofit partner, Friends of Pima Animal Care Center,” Dangler said. "You can adopt, foster, volunteer, donate or share PACC's social media posts."
