Quarantine quiz helps predict when children can return to school

New variants of COVID-19 are more contagious for children and mitigation practices are still critical to keep our children healthy.

The Pima County Health Department is working with schools to figure out the new normal as children and staff return to classrooms. Take this quarantine quiz to see when your child can safely return to the classroom and find other resources on the County's Back To Schools webpage.

PACC officer with pup

PACC’s Safety Net offers helping hand to those in crisis

Yes, there is an emoji covering this pup's face. That's because it is in the Pima Animal Care Center's Safety Net Foster Program.

That means the pup's owner is going through a temporary crisis and has asked PACC for help so that they can keep their pet once they get through this difficult time.

This photo also shows how much our animal protection officers care about pets and people. Officer Wilson couldn't resist giving this dog some cuddles while he finished up some reports.
