BOPP ROAD – SARASOTA BOULEVARD AT KINNEY ROAD

Pima County, Ariz. (Apr. 14) – On Monday, April 19 through Friday, May 28, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will temporarily close Bopp Road at Kinney Road.

The closure is necessary in order to allow crews to work on the waterline, install concrete, rip rap and place asphalt. Once work is completed, the new alignment of Bopp Road and Sarasota Boulevard will be in place and this portion of Bopp Road will be in its final configuration and no longer a through roadway.

Motorists may use Donald Avenue or Tucson Estates Parkway as an alternate route.

Due to the conditions of the work zone motorists should anticipate delays. Those traveling through the area are being asked to please slow down and approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
