ECAP Campaign is underway
The County’s annual ECAP campaign has officially kicked off, effective Sept. 1 and running through Nov. 30.
This has been a year unlike any other, and employees have been stepping up in countless ways to help the community. Thank you! Now County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry and the ECAP committee are asking employees to again be as generous as possible and assist our neighbors in need.
Well Done! Props to Payroll, helping pet owners and keeping parks in shape
Each issue, eScoop would like to give a shout-out to employees and departments who have earned special recognition. We want to hear about colleagues who have earned kudos on the job as well as those being recognized for their work or volunteerism outside the office. Send your ideas on employees who should receive a pat on the back to the eScoop editor.
In this issue, you’ll hear about how Payroll staff go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure your paycheck arrives every other Friday, how staff and volunteers at Pima Animal Care Center are making life a little easier for the humans who love their furry friends and a Parks employee who takes care of our public spaces each and every day.

Learn to manage your spam notifications
Have you had emails caught in the County's spam filter? When an email is intercepted as potential spam or phishing, you'll get an email notification. From there, you have the ability to determine if it's a legitimate message and take appropriate action.
This quarantine process applies to both phishing emails and spam emails.
Take Employee Accountability survey
In a previous survey, employees told members of the HR Training and Development team that the most important values that every County employee should possess are: Being Accountable, Respectful, and Ethical. This led to the guiding principle we have adopted: We A.R.E. Pima County - Accountable, Respectful, Ethical.
Now, staff is moving on to define the second of our values, which is being Accountable. Please take a quick, one-question survey on what you think makes employees Accountable. The survey will be open till Sept. 11, 2020.
