Road Repair Work

Pima Mine Road: I-19 to Entrance of Asarco Mine

 

Pima County, Ariz. (June 5) – On Monday, June 8 through Tuesday, June 30, between the hours of 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, will be performing road repair work on Pima Mine Road from I-19 to the entrance of Asarco Mine.

The work will consist of milling and repaving both lanes and restriping the roadway.

Motorists will be directed through the work zone by flaggers. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays will occur during this work.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

This project is part of Pima County’s $36 million Road Repair Work Program for fiscal year July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. For a complete listing of the Road Repair Program, please visit www.pima.gov/roadrepairmap.
