Celebrate National 811 Day!
August 11 is dedicated to raising awareness about safe digging. Remember to contact Arizona 811 at least two full working days before starting any digging project. This ensures underground utility lines are located and marked, preventing injuries, property damage, and service outages. After calling 811, wait for responses from all facilities on your ticket before digging. Hand-dig within two feet of marked lines, support exposed facilities and keep locate marks visible and valid (15 days) throughout your project. Safety is everyone's responsibility. Contacting Arizona 811 is easy, free, and required by law.
