 Fair Housing Awareness Month
In April we celebrate Fair Housing Month! This year marks the 54th anniversary of the federal Fair Housing Act of 1968. The act protects people from housing discrimination. The City of Mesa provides assistance and materials regarding fair housing questions and complaints. We invite you to visit the Fair Housing webpage to learn more about the laws in place, the discrimination they protect against, and resources available.

The City of Mesa relies on thousands of volunteers each year to help better serve Mesa. Volunteers are engaged in service in almost every area of the city, including the Mesa Arts Center, Libraries, Museums, Parks, and more! We want to show Mesa's volunteers our appreciation this month and invite all our residents to join us in loving our city through service.
Mesa (he)Arts Volunteers
Through April 11th, 2022
Do you want to show Mesa's amazing volunteers your appreciation? Now you can by creating a unique piece of art expressing your gratitude! Artwork can include poetry, painting, sketching, abstract, surrealist, or anything you can imagine! The creative details are up to you, but the theme is gratitude. Art must be able to lay flat (canvas, paper, cardboard, etc.) and must not be larger than 8 x 10. These unique pieces of art will be made into installations that will be on display in many of our City buildings during National Volunteer Week. All art must be dropped off no later than April 11. More details and drop off locations.
